My journey

Being a mum has been my greatest teacher.
It’s taught me resilience, empathy, and the power of letting go of perfection.

My daughter, now 26, was born blind. Over the years, she’s undergone hundreds of surgeries and, most recently, lost the small amount of sight she once had. Walking that journey with her — and as a family — was the most profound training I could have ever received. Then came my son, who struggled with chronic reflux as a baby, taking us down a different, but equally challenging path.

Through it all, I learned that nothing is permanent — life rises and falls, and the only constant is change. That understanding became the foundation of everything I do today.

​

When the 2020 lockdown began, I had no idea how I’d continue my work as a movement practitioner. My teaching was very hands-on — helping people move, recover, and reconnect with their bodies — so I took a leap and began teaching online.

At the same time, I was navigating my own transition. At 45, I discovered I was in perimenopause. For years, I hadn’t felt like myself — I was achy, anxious, low in energy, and sleeping terribly. Despite a healthy lifestyle, something still felt off.

During that period, I launched my podcast 'When',  exploring the moments, big or small, that change our lives  and discovered an incredible online community of women who joined me three times a week to move, breathe, and reconnect. It became a powerful reminder that movement, nourishment, and connection are the anchors that keep us grounded, especially through change.

​

Today, I’m a Life Coach, Nutritionist and Movement Practitioner, drawing on over 20 years of experience in functional health, alongside a deep interest in neuroscience and the brain, which I’ve studied with MIT.

​

My work brings all of these elements together — coaching, nutrition, movement, and the science of how we think and feel — to help especially at midlife, reconnect with their bodies, rewire old patterns and rebuild their confidence from the inside out.

​

The more I learn, the more I realise how much there is still to learn — about health, about change, and about ourselves.  That’s where the magic lies: in staying curious, open and willing to grow.
 

I live in Dublin with my husband, Patrick, and our three kids — a constant source of joy, growth, and perspective even though they all drive me nuts at times🤣
